Students who want to learn to sing or become better singers will demonstrate knowledge of the choral art through the performance process and be able to explain and demonstrate a wide variety of vocal techniques and styles of singing, from classic bel canto style to modern vocal styles. Students will gain the knowledge of music terminology, music theory, reading music, sight-singing, and listening experiences in a variety of musical genres, styles, and historical periods.
